The patented floor design is made possible by proven technology borrowed from the aerospace industry–StirLITE® friction stir welding. The supports are built into the StirLITE® floor and joined together by friction stir welding. Revolutionary Bolt-On Bumper
Revolution trailers will feature a new bolt-on bumper that meets current FMVSS/CMVSS standards. It looks great and cuts repair time dramatically! No cutting. No welding. Just bolt on and go! The new design includes round LED lights that are readily available coast-to-coast for easier repair/replacement. What is the warranty on the Revolution Aluminum?
10-years on light and harnesses with no cracks or spliced wires. The original owner will have a 60 month warranty of defective material and/or defective workmanship of parts furnished and installed by Fontaine.
What are the best ways to maintain the Revolution Aluminum trailer?
Regularly drain moisture from reservoir tank. Inflate tires to specified PSI. Check mounting nuts for appropriate torque. Check wheel-ends for leaks. Make regular brake adjustments. Inspecting wiring and connections often and ensure they are clear of debris and still tight. Inspect all valves for leaks. It is also best practice to maintain a regular cleaning schedule for your trailer. Refer to the owner's manual for specific maintenance procedures.
Are aluminum trailers rust-resistant?
Yes! Aluminum is corrosion resistant. Road salt, water, etc will not react and cause rust on aluminum like it does over time with steel. This equates to less maintenance and more life out of your asset.
What are the benefits of aluminum trailers?
Aluminum allows us to build a platform trailer that is strong but also much lighter weight than a steel or combo trailer. The difference in steel vs all aluminum usually equates to around at least a 10% weight savings. The other major benefit is that aluminum is corrosion resistant. Road salt, water, etc will not react and cause rust on aluminum like it does over time with steel. This equates to less maintenance and more life out of your asset.

Is there an alternative floor configuration?
Yes! If the grooved floor is not ideal for your application, we can offer a smooth top floor without grooves. However, this will eliminate the ability to use the sliding load securement options unique to the Revolution. If you need a “heavier” floor for certain applications, we can use the same floor panels that are used in the coil area for the full length of the floor. This will add some cost and weight to the trailer, and typically is not necessary, but it is an option.
